Why Sharks Are Attacking More People Than Ever in Hawaii

I found this a very interesting read. A quote from the article: “Only three people died last year from shark attacks.” An all time low. The more time we spend in their environment the more likely we are to encounter them. However, due to industrial shark fishing the number of most species is also going to be at an all time low. 25% of all shark species are threatened with extinction which is a scary thought! They are apex predator in our marine ecosystems and we have no idea of the consequences of removing them.
