Again, with the belated! Happy belated halloween. I’m not much for celebrating this holiday by dressing up. I do however, enjoy using pumpkins for enrichment of the animals I work with, as they become cheap at this time of year. This years enrichment went down a success with the animals being very responsive to the pumpkins items. Even the new additions loved it. The otter “pups” even began eating the pumpkins after the food was hidden in it which they haven’t done in previous years. The loggerhead sea turtles ate the munchkin pumpkins and made a massive mess.
So, this halloween turned out to be a pumpkin feast.
